Your Greatest Gift
With the progression of time, we have gotten progressively broken and isolated. In our endeavors to become divine beings, we have disregarded nature. We have underestimated nature. Maybe it is something unfamiliar or outsider.
Illnesses, plagues, and infections come from an injured nature – because this is the solitary way that nature can retaliate against us when we hurt it. chiron astrology
Furthermore, the paradox is, nature isn’t something outside ourselves. We are nature. We are half-nature, half-divine beings.
When we hurt nature, we are not hurting something that is outside of ourselves; we are hurting ourselves.
In astrology, the image for the separation (and ultimately, compromise) of man and nature is Chiron.
Chiron is a half-man, half-horse centaur, somebody who has figured out how to accommodate its creature nature (half-horse) with its authentic nature (half-man). Thus, Chiron has become an insightful instructor of the olympian divine beings, showing them medication, natural science, drug store, music, and astrology.
The standard of separation compromise is found in Chiron’s circle also. Chiron circles between Saturn (the last planet apparent to the unaided eye and an image for “nature”) and Uranus (the main imperceptible planet and an image for the “divine”).
Chiron goes about as a scaffold between the two universes, expecting to unite them to accommodate them.
Much like Chiron is half-nature, half-god, we also need to figure out how to accept nature and the heavenly and reestablish our human respect.
In astrology, Chiron represents:
Our most profound injury
All-encompassing healing (which possibly happens when we incorporate the injury)
Our most special gifts and abilities (which ONLY become gifts when the underlying injury is mended).
Indeed, Chiron has three models: the Wounded Healer, the Shaman, and the Alchemist.
